Choose a script PDF A full play, a few audition pages or a monologue

Before you upload: remove the title page and cast list so the script starts at Act 1, Scene 1.

How do I remove pages?

iPad or iPhone: Open the PDF in the Files app. Swipe in from the left edge to show the page thumbnails. Press and hold a page you don't need and choose Delete. Repeat for each opening page.
Mac: Open the PDF in Preview and choose View, then Thumbnails. Click the first opening page, hold Shift and click the last one, press Delete, then choose File, then Save.
Windows or Chromebook: Go to ilovepdf.com and choose "Remove pages". Add the PDF, click the opening pages to mark them, then download the new copy.

When everyone records their own lines on their own device, each person sends just their character's recordings. The file is named after the character, ready to save into a shared Google Drive folder.

Recording apart: how it works

On this device, use Share or Save as a file above to send the show to the cast. It only needs the script.
Make a folder in Google Drive for the recordings, set it so anyone with the link can add files, and copy its link.
Below, choose Record your own lines, paste the folder link and send the email. It tells each actor how to import the show, record their part and save it into the folder.
When everyone has sent theirs, open the folder and download all the files.
On the Shows page, tap Import a show and select all the files at once. They slot into this show.
Come back here and share the finished show with everyone, using the Rehearse the show email.
